stupid ass itunes problems

problems started roughly 2 days ago

i have 120 gigs worth of music or some shit, and my ipod is smaller than that, what i've done in the past is just check off the artists i wanna sync, it does the job and all is good.

now when i plug in the ipod, i get "cannot sync ipod, an unknown error has occured (13013), "
yesterday i exported my library, deleted some lib files and genius shit, then reimported and it synced up fine
today i added a new artist and now i'm getting this error again.

now when i say just fuck it, and eject, it tells me i can't eject as some files are in use by another program, but itunes is the only program i have running.

how can i fix this pos?

When you synced and reubuilt, did you use the method described here?

try rebuilding your library.

Drag iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.xml out of your iTunes folder.

Start iTunes, hopefully it will start with an empty library. Use this article to recreate your library:

yes those are the instructions i followed.

turns out my problem was my ipod didn't have enough free room, unless i left like 1gig free, i always get that problem, but not syncing as many artists seems to work.
