Hello! Let’s all tread together the treacherous path of the final day of the work week joined by some great music!

Man, hasn't this been some week? Lots of news in videogame land. People finally had a chance to take an early demo for Final Fantasy XV for a spin to confirm it's not vaporware (it's pretty great!), Type-0 also got its long awaited release (wrong console, but it's better than nothing),  God of War 3 is ...

**** UPDATE: Gamespot broke news of news of internal turmoil between Kojima Productions and Konami, coming from an "insider". Apparently, it's a bit harsher than people suspected. Grain of salt, everyone. ****

Hello! Let’s all tread together the treacherous path of the final day of the work week joined by some great music!

I am hyped for Bloodborne. Unreasonably hyped. I am more hyped for it than even Final Fantasy Type-0. Souls games are a curious bunch because they are the modern day version of a NES game: gripping, absorbing, and difficult as hell. Of the three that have been released so far (Demon's, Dark 1, ...

  5. Looking forward to it

Today news broke** that Naoki Yoshida, Producer of Final Fantasy XIV, affectionately called Yoshi-P by fans, has been promoted to an executive position within the ranks of Square Enix (SE). This is, in my opinion (and many fan's as well) a well deserved recognition for a man that did the impossible: he took a failed MMO, which also happened to be a main numbered entry in the FF franchise, and turned it into a success¹.

Beyond turning around the Titanic that was the original ...
