Just got a PS3 so I'm looking at games I can download. What kind of download sizes will I be looking at on average? My internet isn't the greatest; only reason I'm asking. Looking at some PSN games and maybe marvel vs. capcom 2, dunno what else yet.

Very small, maybe 200-300MB? Depends on the game. It alerts you about the size before you even begin to dl, btw.
They range hugely in size depending on what you're DLing. Note they even have released full PS3 games on PSN. The plus side is you can always check before buying them. Marvel vs Capcom is tiny because it was like Playstation gen so it's probably between 300-400 MBs.
Ok thanks, I wasn't sure if I'd be able to check the size before buying something, or if I'd pay for it and then go ahhhhhh fuck when starting to download it lol.
Just a heads up with Marvel vs. Capcom 2, it'll make you rage because the game is a 250mb some download, and the first time you run it, you'll be prompted to update the game, which is.........a 250mb some download.
Fucking hate when that occurs, probably the third game I've purchased where the update is literally just redownloading the whole game again with a couple changed files.
But yeah, I agree on MB showing being mandatory on PSN games. It does it for PSP/minis, not sure why it doesn't always do it for PS3 releases though.
