TV Tuner Card

I'm looking to get a TV tuner card for my computer, because I want to pick up a 360 and a PS3 in the new few weeks, but I don't know which one I should get. Price isn't to to much of an issue but I'm not really looking to spend over $150 because I could probably get a cheep TV, not that the idea of getting one isn't off the table ether.

But any advice that I could get on the subject is much appreciated.

Depends. If you just want to be able to hook a PS3/360 into your PC and run it then just buy a nice monitor. It's easy to find nice and relatively inexpensive monitors with multiple HDMI inputs. This way you can get a nice monitor upgrade (or perhaps a secondary monitor) as well as solving your console problem. Two birds with one stone and save the money on the tuner.

The only reason I would suggest getting at tuner is if you want to do capture. But I don't know enough to give you good suggestions in that department.

EDIT: It seems like you want capture, but I wasn't sure about your line "pick up".

I'm really not sure what you're looking for. A tuner card allows you to receive cable channels on your computer, but that doesn't seem to be the device you're describing. And a capture card doesn't replace a TV soo.. I'm confused.

If running through HDMI, just buy an HDMI switch.

I think the PS3 and 360 allow you to run audio and video separately when connected through HDMI. I'm not positive though.

If running through VGA, buy these three things:

Connect the PS3/360 component video to the coupler, then the 6 inch Component to VGA cable to the switch box.

For audio, just grab an RCA stereo to miniphone adapter, and you can run it through your computer's line-in port:
