Video/monitor issue?

Getting funky graphic stuff, lines on monitor appearing and keeps cycling down to up and it's glitchy all below the line. I took a screenshot in ffxi and print screen of desktop but it's not showing in the pictures. Must mean a monitor issue, any fix?

EDIT: Only shows up when ffxi is running.
EDIT2: Tried out tf2 and it started flickering again. if it was a video issue wouldn't that show in screenshots?

EDIT3: Now the flickering has spread to applications as well, resizing windows for example.

What output is going to your monitor? HDMI, DVI, VGA? What kind of graphics card do you have?

Just because it's showing up on your monitor like that and screenshots look fine, doesn't mean it's the monitor.

DVI to monitor, DVI-HDMI to TV and a diamond 5750 or 5850 I think, says 5800 series in device manager.

Restarting the PC fixed it. I have dual monitors with the 2nd being the TV and it wasn't flickering on that at all.

Make sure you have the DVI cord plugged in all the way on both ends. Screw them in and everything. If it continues, bump this thread.
