Save Point is a Lindblum server linkshell that has been up and running since day one of FFXIV.

We have a solid core of members, many with extensive MMO experience, including FFXI end-game. Our leaders have experience in running advanced linkshells or guilds in various games. Most of our active members are currently ranks 25-45 and gaining levels by the day. Most members are focusing on Disciples of War and Magic classes, although we have a number of dedicated crafters among us.

Above all, we’re a family. We get along remarkably well (maybe that makes us not like family at all?!). We’re all adults – or at least act that way. We do things together – leves, SP parties, crafting, random hanging out, etc. Everything is done with an eye towards having the best linkshell possible. We have lofty goals, but realize the best way to achieve those goals is to have a solid foundation of good people. A strong sense of community and loyalty. And the ability to have fun while we’re doing it.

Some of the things we currently do:

* Group guildleves
* Group SP
* Special events (holiday party)
* Ventrilo/Mumble voice chat

And we have our sights set on tackling all the new content including NMs and high level faction leves. We will also form a company when they become available. Company membership will be open to linkshell members at an appropriate level who are willing to commit to the group.

We’re looking for a few more good people to join our shell.
New members should be:

* Rank 25 or higher (we will make exceptions in some limited cases; contact a leader for more details).
* Active players and focusing on skilling up a "main" class quickly.
* Interested in having a linkshell to commit to, be loyal to, and truly be a part of.
* Interested in reaching out to others for fun and friendship.
* A team player, willing to put group goals over individual gain.
* A student of the game, someone who tries to educate themselves on game mechanics and develop their character accordingly.
* Mature and not interested in drama.
* Willing to check the LS website frequently and participate in forum discussions.
* Willing to use voice chat if needed.
(We currently use Ventrilo and would encourage any new member to join us on Vent as it is a great way to get to know people. We may transition to Mumble in the future. Voice chat is currently not required but we may in the future request that members participating in advanced game content be able to use voice chat.)

We've got about 2-3 active members currently rank 45-50 and another 15 or so active members scattered 30-45. And we've got some active members lower than that too. Not trying to start dick measuring or anything, just wanting to give an idea of how the LS currently looks. We're not out to have a linkshell of solely those dominating the SP grind; rather the above quoted points are most important. I know I've seen from experience not all of the hardcore grinders become hardcore endgame or even an asset to a group that experiences that content.
