Everything about the show is fucking boring until Ricky comes on stage. He is ripping people's balls off up there.

Hugh hefner part, lmfao.
Yeah, I'm having a blast. Guy's great! Also, did you likey see Wilde Leroy?
Sucks Hans Zimmer didn't win for best score. Thought he was gonna win that one. I didn't see 127 hours so not sure how great that was.
Hathaway
Spoiler: show
No, i'm not watching that garbage.
Holy shit, I lol'd so many times during that 4 minutes. I love Ricky Gervais. He is the man.
they should have looked under their tables then
Qalbert, you have a link to the whole ceremony? I wanna see all his one liners
You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.
edit: Looks like Gervais is as well; best ratings NBC has seen in a year. Guess this means they'll have to bring him back next year.

lol, the Tim Allen crack, good lord he seemed upset going the full "that's the joke" route.
He's from my town
At the risk of sounding like his promoter you should look up some of his stand up DVDs: Ricky Gervais Live: Politics, Ricky Gervais Live: Animals, Ricky Gervais Live: Science. I'm not sure if any of those have "made it" in America since there's a few British references etc., it's still funny as shit though. Science is his new one, it's like 2.5 hours long too
He makes American specials for the Americans. I'm sure most of the jokes are exactly the same, his 2nd American one had jokes that seemed lifted from standup for a British audience, and his first one had a few that seemed that way as well.
Yeah he just had something new on HBO last month and in addition to his podcast, it looks like Pilkington's getting his own show lol
fuck yeah
also is his new HBO one just a more US friendly version of Science?
Not sure myself, haven't sat down with either one of them yet
I watched the british science first and then when I saw another special come out later (american version) I was all like 'omg another gervais one yay' and it was almost exactly the same. I skipped around a lot in the american one to see if anything was new so there may have been some stuff I missed but it seemed like the ending was a bit different but 80+% of it was the same I guess.
thats what i figured =/
