DCing every hour at the same exact time

Weird but since the update I am DCing at 29 minutes past the hour every hour. For example when I logged on at 4:00 pm est. I then DC'd at 4:29, 5:29, 6:29, etc...

I don't know a lot about this but could it possibly be an ISP issue? Not sure what other info I should even provide in this thread to help determine the cause. Also, has anyone else even experienced anything similar?

Sounds like an Ip renewal error. Try "ipconfig /renew" in command prompt and if it times out then ya that's the problem. 2 causes I know of: 1. bad router 2. company changed some format and has erros on their end. I would contact your provider and ask them whats up.

ok thought id post this here instead of making a new post but i seem to be dropping into yellow red a lot lately but my friends on same cable is fine.
i tried browsing the web and its fine , i tried playing other online games like mw2 and its fine.

Only seems to be happening on ffxiv like yesterday i played all day with no problems but this morning took forever to log then in game i drop into red its so random.
my friend who lives just around the corner from me is fine and hes on the exact same virgin cable internet in the uk.
any ideas :/ ?

I have this problem all the time (sans the friend on same cable) everything else is working peachy, yet XIV keeps losing the connection. I haven't been able to figure out what the problem is, but it is XIV only as far as I can tell.

Unless your R0 being in the red doesn't matter in this game. I spent the whole Alpha and B1 in the Red.
if your getting R0's may be a port fowarding issue. I had to mess with that in the alpha alot.

in cmd prompt do

ipconfig /all

does lease expires correspond to the time you've been dcing?

If so this is a setting in your router, you need to reconfigure the IP lease time to a higher number.

This used to happen to me. I removed the network adapter in the device manager, then reinstalled it. Fixed the problem.
