I wonder what's in there. Is this a content patch or is it supposed to be further adjustments of the contents of 1.15a? (Not familiar with these patch names)

If I recall correctly, patches are divided into a) adjustments and b) content. Not completely sure if it's this black-and-white though but we'll see soon enough. With this approach, this one should implement content (quests).

Well, we have a party-pooper in our midst:

I prefer to release fewer quests regularly as part of the monthly patches instead. This may give the impression of less content per patch, but I'd like to try it this way for a span of about two months or so and see how it goes.

It depends on how much time it takes to accomplish said quests each update. This game is going to take awhile before it pleases those who spent all their waking life on it. But solid quests i.e. story interests and entertains players, and requires a bit of effort to accomplish and gives a bit of satisfaction/shinies when completing, can go a long way if every 2 weeks they add more like that. I kind of wonder if he wants to add differing styles of quests each time to kind of test what people are most interested in. This is where I, ironically, probably agree with Hyan that the status quo can give the wrong impression and kind of take the game down even further in terms of quality. I want to see quests with story so good that its the story pulling me along and the carrot is just gravy, I don't want it to be all about mashing through a boring CS to get my new shiny.

I'll be looking at forums today when this patch is through and see if anything attracts me to log in...

This has me giddy. It is time for the potential of this game to be further unlocked. Current content is getting stale and nothing to do with surplus drops but sell at this point, and even that's hard to do sometimes.

Here's hoping for some progression-related content with new gear.

I'm of the opinion that these quests can stack up a few times before I start playing. Especially if Yoshida's prophecy holds true and there's really not that much stuff in this patch.

They'll be waiting for me regardless of whether I do them now or after Summer.

Have to agree with Hyan completely here. New content will be waiting later, better to wait till it starts stacking up, regardless of how much gets put into each patch. I'm still planning on holding out till July or so.

Full time school and gf fills enough of my time, soon full time work will add to that. I can't foresee any amount of actual content not being enough for me, so whatever they add is more than the nothing there now. If they add enough to keep me busy a few hours at a time over the next month, even if its only twice a week, its 2 times a week I wasn't logging on prior. But to each his own!

Handful? What server do you smoke crack on? I got 50 glad like a month ago, which was kinda far behind the curve. Ans now I have thm40 only doing leves over the past two weeks with a group of 5-8. Ranking up is a sick joke now. It was a ton harder before 1.15a so if you just don't have the playtime, fair enough, but hitting 50 is really easy now.

I also want midgame content to keep things rolling and remove some of the grind too. I'd like to see a good mix of questing, leves, instancing, and grinding take a firm hold in the game to break the monotony. That freedom isn't here just yet but give it time.

Underwhelming, but at least crafting SP isn't being nerfed. Gulk was freaking out over nothing, told you it would be fine.
