Looking for weather proof security cameras.

Recently we had someone vandalize our house. It was one of my step brothers high school "friends" so with that being said I decided I wanted to invest in some security cameras for the front of our house. I'm not looking to spend a WHOLE bunch maybe around 500-600 maybe more depending on how much others will pitch in. (I need TWO cameras one for each corner of the front of the house).

    Features that are required:
    Video recording
Access from networked computers (Recordings need to be accessed from networked computers as well).
Image needs to be quality enough to identify someone

Cameras do not need to have motors or sound as far as I know.

    Thanks,
    Ikith

Quick look about I saw http://www.surveillance-video.com/sonsnfixnetd.html
Looks good, and for some reason all other sites list this camera as 1000$

One thing you want to consider as well are the night capabilities (quality, width, and distance). I tried looking around to see how this camera performed at night and couldnt find anything.

From what ive seen just in a few searches it's hard to find a good inexpensive network/highres/night camera. The camera itself doesnt have to be recordable, you can easily find software to do that job. I believe Sony includes such a program with this one however.

Seems like the "day/night" cams arent very good if they dont have IR (duh) after some research, they need some other source of lighting. So scratch the above post unless youve a light source.

Im honestly having a real hard time trying to find an inexpensive IR network cam. All the good cams are CCTV.
