    Online Co-Op PS3 Titles? (1-4p)

Ran a few searches but I didn't see any information posted. My GF Just got herself a PS3 and we are looking for some good online co-op games to play with one another and one or two friends. We all played Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii, and that hasn't even gotten old yet tbh, but I want something a little fresher and newer.

Looking for games that are reminiscent of like and Action RPG, but am also open to any other suggestions across the genre board.

I would recommend Dungeon Hunter: Alliance. It's a simple, but cheap game. Since you can share the one copy among all systems, it requires little investment. Think a very basic Diablo (more like Champions of Norrath if you're familiar.) 3 Playable classes, Warrior, Mage, Rogue, but each can be more or less built 2 different ways (Warrior can be dps or "tank", etc) I would say the main story is around 10 hours if you do the quests, with a second unlockable difficulty.

Zombie Apocalypse is always good fun (up to 4p), Dead Nation is good too, but only 2 players.

Edit: Also, I'd look into White Knight Chronicles 2, I think it's slated for a September release. Can't speak for the second one, but WKC1 was a little grindy when it came down to it, but it was still a lot of fun with friends.

One that springs to mind is Hunted: The Demon's Forge. I've never played it personally but I wanted to try it out because of its online co-op in an action RPG. Videos I saw, it looked similar to Dragon Age.

The combat is nothing like Dragon Age. It's closer to Demon's souls but much more clunky.. Its a bad 1 player game and a decent 2 player game if you have someone consistently to play with.

Looked this one up on gamespot, looks interesting actually thanks for the tip. Is there a degree of character customization?

Also, I had seen Hunted before while browsing through on gamestop. Looked pretty interesting, might look into that one too. I never played White Knight chronicles but maybe I'll check that out and the 2nd one, too.

Borderlands is pretty fun. It also has split-screen co-op.

Not sure if you like the dynasty warriors type games, but if I remember correctly Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 is 1-4 player online co-op. might take some time to get licenses/good parts for the gundams, but it's a fun game, at least I enjoy it a lot.

Ratchet and Clank all 4 one looks pretty fun, although I don't know if the CO-OP is online so don't take my word for it.

For an RPG...Two Worlds II is online and my brothers and I love it. We've played Hunted: The Demon's Forge (Only 2 player), Sacred 2, Marvel Ultimate Alliance II and White Knight Chronicles.

Of those I would definitely pick up Two Worlds II and WKC2 (when released). I wouldn't get WKC1 just because you will progress so much faster if you just wait for 2. Two Worlds 2 is very Oblivion-esque and is coming out with a new DLC which makes this one a must for a co-op rpg fan.

Unfortunately there is none, not even the option to choose female.

Luckily though, WKC has a pretty indepth character customization option.

Resident Evil 5 is a good co-op 3rd person shooter. I think only 2 ppl max.

This isn't really a game recommendation persay, but when I asked about a similar question, I was linked here and I use it as a resource when looking for new co-op games to play:

Awesome, got some good leads to look into. Three of us have DW:Gundam 3, but I've enjoyed the offline modes moreso than online. They really should have added campaign-esque missions online. Dungeon Siege III and WKC2 have me a bit intrigued. GF is kind of squeemish when it comes to RE type games lol, probably gunna avoid that.

I think I might have actually heard of that Co-Optimus site, forgot all about it, thanks for the tips guys.
