I haven't really heard anything about this, and am sort of interested, but don't know anything about it.

Can anybody give me a quick run down on it? I watched a few videos, and it looks like you don't actually target anyone, but swing like an action game.

If you've ever played Monster Hunter, people say it's a lot like that only an MMO. The combat system is what really sells this game (well... the graphics are amazing too), it's amazingly fun. The game really picks up after level 20, when you get to start fighting your first BAM(Big Ass Monster), which you can take on with a group, or challenge yourself and attempt to solo. I suggest watching a few more videos. Sadly, if you had discovered this only a few days ago, you could have tried it out for free with a buddy code!

So the game is pretty. And? The graphics don't really matter at all to me. I'm only interested in game play, amount of content at launch, pvp vs pve balance, stuff like that.

Is it a traditional leveling/gear system? What's the primary endgame goal, like, dungeons or pvp stuff? How big is the world? What kind of travel is there?

The gameplay is the best of any MMO in a very, very long time. This thread is borderline stupid. There are a lot of threads and other sources to answer all of your questions.

The game has been out a while in Korea, so amount of content at launch is more than your average new MMO. The endgame has both dungeons, open world monsters (FFXI style but shorter respawns), and PVP. PVP servers have GvG "War declarations" where any number of guilds can declare war on your guild, but you can only declare war on up to 3 guilds at a time.

As far as travel goes, there are mounts, flight points, and teleport NPCs. If there is anything else, I haven't got that far yet. Priests can summon players. You will auto-teleport to instances if you queue up for them by pressing "Y" and setting your preferences.
