I've watched it when I was young and it was on a tape somewhere which got destroyed now, I can remember a bunch of it however. I'll try to describe.

- An American film
- Probably somewhere in 1990
- Set entirely over the course of 1 day/night I believe
- I missed the first 15 mins of the film or so, but basically it's about this dude's dad forcing him to go get a driving license. He fails of course, but somehow manages to brag/fake having one to not be a let down to his mates who've been WAITING for him to get a license so he could go out and have fun. The mates consist of 2 guys and a chick
- The dude's mum is pregnant
- The night of high jinks start when the main character was forced to drive out at night to do something. Having no car of his own but an incredibly expensive car that belong to his dad's dad, he starts off driving slowly out to do this thing he had to do with his mates
- Gradually they get around the city doing wild stuff and the car becomes increasingly damaged towards the end, to the point of "battered" by the time he snuck back home and slide it into the garage, but to his surprise his mum goes into labour
- His dad discovers the car naturally but is furious, but having no other choice, he is forced to ask his son to drive them to hospital
- In this particular scene, the car's stuck in reverse gear, so they had to drive all the way to hospital in reverse
- The film ends up the dude's dad's dad turning up and the family being terrified of his reaction, you'd think he'd die looking at his battered car initially, but he laughs it off and quotes "I've had a bit of trouble with your car too!" and a pick up truck drives by with the main character's dad's car completely written off

Hope that's enough detail. I've got an urge to watch the film again for it was funny from what I remember and I like these types of films as it's kinda like Harold and Kumar, etc XD

I've got one I've been trying to solve.

I used to rent this all the time from Blockbuster as a kid. So it's either an 80s or 90s movie, probably never in theaters since I can't recall the actors.

- Theres 3 or 4 kids and there summer vacation is about to start.
- One of the kids is fat, and at the start of the film he's in his bathroom with his shirt off. He also has a drawer full of snickers in said bathroom.
- They have been planning this bike trip out into the woods to go camping/fishing/whatever
- At some point, they reminisce about a buddy of theirs that died recently from some disease. They recall a talent show or something where he sang.
- When they get to where they are camping, they build some stuff with wood. I think there was a rope swing into a lake.
- Later on they get terrorized by an old guy on a dirtbike. You never see his face.

*BUMP* Trying to figure out this movie from just a couple scene clues.. Google has been no help at all.

- a segment about the paint that they use to cover over graffiti
- a segment of just footage of oil derricks at sunset or something

I was thinking it might be Koyaanisquatsi but I don't remember seeing any scenes with graffiti.

Someone posted a thread/trailer for it somewhere but I can't recall the name.

I want to say the art direction was very utilitarian.
I believe it was some guy experimenting on a single girl.
She hallucinates and escapes and then you just start tripping balls with her.
-Might be like The Fall/The Cell/etc art style wise.

I don't remember, please halp.
