Mrrargeh! Stupid video software won't work on my brother's machine!

Ok, a friend was very nice to me and got me a VHS to DVD kit. The only problem is it's a Dazzle. And the Pinnacle Studio HD version 14 that came with it will not work on my brother's windows 7 64 machine!(I'd rather use it on that machine for the moment; it's the faster machine) We've tried about everything; I'm d/ling a newer demo now to see if that will work. (Friend suggested 15, I'm having to get a version above that!)

Anyone else got any ideas to can the cussing? Mind, this is under warranty so if you know of a torrent to get the 15 or 16 demo that is clean, we can call and scream and get a new key. Also, suggestions of cracks or full versions will not be welcome, I think most know how I feel about that.

virtual pc windows XP, I believe windows does this for free if you have pro or higher
regardless of how you feel about cracks and such, it is the easiest and best solution for your problem. Considering you actually own the software, you should feel much more at ease about finding ways to make your legally owned software work. Consider gamers and the hoops they have to jump through with ultra restrictive DRM and the inability to play the games they actually own because theyve had to reinstall it on a new pc and are out of installs. You own it, you shouldnt have to fight to get it working properly.

Actually since this is under warranty, from all I read you can get the key for free, since the original version was crashing and refused to run at all. So no hoops other than a phone call and a lot of telling them off for shipping a POS that won't run on Windows 7 64. That's why I'm not worried and don't wanna even think about a crack.

And I full understand why people use cracks. This time the crack is not necessary since they'll make good for the POS. From all reports, anyway.

And yes we tried that. Tried upping the page file, tried running it in Windows XP mode, it still wouldn't load! And yes, the direct d/l for the demo is taking forever, that's why I'm wiling to entertain a torrent for this so we can get the stupid thing to work; the 16 demo was already registered so I have no guilt about being able to d/l it faster.
