Plot:
Medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is on her first Space Shuttle mission accompanied by veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney), who is commanding his final expedition. During a spacewalk, debris from a satellite crashes into the space shuttle Explorer, leaving it mostly destroyed, and stranding them in space with limited air. Without means of communication with Earth, they must cooperate to survive.

Same. Preview just showed the entire movie. Would make a cool short film that was like 10-20 mins tops. But why go sit down and see a movie when that builds up to the collapse and game over?

Cuaron is a talented director, I kind of think this movie is going to be great or terrible, I'm not sure there's much middle ground here.

It'll be like that Squall and Rinoa space scene stretched into 2 hours. They'll go into the stages of grief and then die leaving the viewers emotional and the actors with an award nomination.

I can see this being a hell of a 20minutes. But an 1h40 min of omg this is borrrrrrrring. So the intense 20 will either be right at the end or right at the beginning.
