3rd Party software to transfer music on ipod to PC (lost back up files)???

I had to wipe out my desktop and lost a lot of the new music I currently have on my iphone.

Does anyone have any experience with 3rd pty software that takes music from ipod and transfers to PC? I know you cant normaly do this but I have a lot of rare stuff I dont want to lose. I found this program - touchcopy - but am hesitant to use it

Has anyone used this, is it legit? or any suggestions?

pretty sure I've used this before. http://www.floola.com/home/

Clementine should also be able to do it. http://www.clementine-player.org/

Haven't ever used the one you linked, don't know anything about it

I used this program on three instances now (for myself and friends):

    Worked perfectly.

Free version is all you need, iirc.

These 3rd party transference software are similar.
I usually use Leawo iTransfer, a windows based tool that helps me backup iPod files.
