They fixed the extra 'm' already :I
I'm looking forward to the remake a lot, I own a copy of the original release but I was never able to get into it. They did a great job with EOU: Millennium Girl, hopefully the new cast is equally enjoyable.
Now known as Etrian Odyssey Untold 2: Knight of Fafnir

Worth noting that the cast from EOU Story will not be returning as the main cast for EOU2.
Bit of a shame since I liked EOU1's cast a lot, but hopefully they'll make a cameo appearance at least.
Story Summary
http://gematsu.com/2014/08/new-etria...emise-unveiledFollowing up on its reveal earlier this week of Atlus remaking Etrian Odyssey 2 for the 3DS in the same vein as the prequel, Famitsu has thrown up a small online preview outlining the basic plot premise of the new storyline being added to the game.
Taking place once again in the land of High Lagaard, the opening of the game revolves around Arianna, princess of the Duchy of Caledonia, making her way to Ginnunga, an area made up of mysterious old ruins, for a ceremony that takes place only once a century. When she and her traveling party reach Ginnunga, however, the protagonist’s body is suddenly struck by a strange ailment, one that turns his body grotesque as his eyes go red and his hands and feet harden. What awaits everyone after that is anyone’s guess.

November 27th (Japan), Cooking details
http://gematsu.com/2014/08/new-etria...lease-date-setNew Etrian Odyssey 2 (or Etrian Odyssey Untold II, I honestly don’t know what to call it) will launch for 3DS in Japan on November 27 for 5,980 yen (6,458 yen with tax), this week’s Famitsu reveals.
First-print run copies of the game will include an original soundtrack CD containing the game’s theme song and other selections.
Outside of release information, Famitsu also has details on a new cooking system, character, and trading.
With the new cooking system, players can use ingredients collected from defeated monsters and gathering points to make over 70 types of woodland cuisine. You can sell your cookery in the city to earn money, and use that money to develop the town.
The new character is named Regina. Voiced by Yu Kobayashi, she is the cabinet minister’s granddaughter and an artisan chef.
As for trading, it’s possible to trade Grimoires for other items through the in-game shop. Street Pass exchanges with other players are also possible. And there is a recycle feature to exchange unwanted Grimoires, as well.
