Wow.. a LS known throughout all servers. >.> Anyways Hello I'm Bustaballs from Quetzy server. I recently joined my first endgame LS. Did dynamis, gods, and hnm runs for the first time. Got my first HNM title Cassienova =D.

Anyways my LS is thinking about trying out the big bad dragons and such sometime. Now I was hoping since you guys are pros that if I ever needed some info for the LS that you guys could hook me up. >.> think that's about it for now.

the best wyrm advice can be summed up in four words

... they're pointless on them, just fight them how they were meant to be fought. Watch another LS (if you have one) on your server kill them. That will give you enough information on the fight, assuming you can kill Fafhog.

it's not doing so bad. JP lost their control it seems. Too many NA will help each other if they try to MPK XD Kaizen (Ascension) pretty much pwns Nidhogg pops lately as well as Vrtra and Tiamat (amazing they have people on at 4am EST that live in EST zone or even for PST that's late >< they've killed Tiamat atleast twice around those times ). I don't know much about the CoP things like the Limbus.. but I know there's atleast one LS that does it every weekend and doing fairly well. Inflation and gilsellers suck (I only really get annoyed cause of the monopolization of NM and low level HNM but meh.. the crafting gilsellers never bothered me.. they never made crap expensive). Population still low compared to other servers. Over all.. not terribly bad.

yathe uber Kaizen shell kills them.. along with attempts from a few other LSs.

Jumping from Cassie to Jorm (or whatever you had your sights on) is like going from baby food to a nice fat T-Bone steak.

I would move to like... Ash dragon or Adamantoise or something. Need to get used to dealing with adds before you can step up to Jorm. Jorm is very easy but it still requires all the members to be used to fighting wyrms and a bunch of mobs at once (or somehow dealing with them.)

No offense meant, but you probably won't get anything such as wyrm strategies by asking on here.

Best thing to do is to watch another LS kill fafnir/nidhogg or tiamat... they are easy to get to, and watch what all the people in the alliance do.

biggest tips are...

Dont give them TP, SMN(bp) MNK(chi blast) BLM WSing melees are all great.

Try to tank with nin/war or pld/nin... the old smn sub with 2-3 pld/war is hard to pull off with ustusemi changes.

in wyrms, enmity > all.... PLD or NIN +enmity as high as they can go. WHMs should be -enmity as far as they can go(without compromising seriously important gear).

THFs or THF sub jobs can seriously help with hate in the beginning as while.

all it takes is one person to fk up hate, and it can end your parade.

noble's tunic + cure clogs can really help

But every whm is different

I used to die a lot at the wyrms (not from lack of -enmity but from lack of HP - AOE's suck) so my build these days revolves around HP and magic defense. Lately i've been trying whm/rdm with cure speed merits and cure clogs. It works pretty well.

I think if i were starting my build over. I would go for raven's body and head. That right there is probably more -enmity than I see on most whm i check. I guess it's sort of a toss up. The Blessed Body, I feel, is the most useful of whm bodies...i just stopped using it after I got a Dalmatica because.....I got a Dalmatica.

I'll tell you what I tell every other person that has ever asked me about fighting them:

Fight them like you fight any other wyrm (Vrtra being an exception).

Nobody helps us when we're being mpk'd unless it's another JP LS. In fact, not once has an NA shell ever helped us when we've been trained. I quite vividly recall your LS just standing around at our last nidhogg, talking shit to the jps who were cc'ing us, while merely observing as someone's spiders ran right by you, and on top of us.

To your credit though, you didn't mention your ls anyway.
