KRT Stairway Glitch

Well, tonight I was leveling RDM in the lower levels of the tomb. Sadly got agroed by a couple dire bats on the way and made my way out via the stairway warp. Now, normally, you'd think it'd be safe since it's a warp? However, tonight, the bats decided to follow into the outter (low-level area) where I quickly got smacked down.

Honestly, I don't remember when mobs from the lower-level were even allowed to come out, but apperently that's no longer the case. I'm seriously hoping this is a glitch, cause I imagine something far worse being pulled out of there (outdoor Vrtra anyone?)

Yeah doesn't work no more, same in Uleguerand range. Mobs will fall down those little holes if you aggro them.

I'm pretty sure it's been like that for a while. I remember laughing as I watched people being chased by dire bats through that area when I level low lvl jobs a long time ago.

About 3-4 months ago the Dire bats not going up the "Stairs" used to work. Now they just warp upstairs with you.

How did they stop people from training a bunch of high level crap to the zone of KRT (from ronfaure), as a "surprise" for the newbies? Before the MPK patch, of course.

I can remember those bats chasing me to zone when I was lvl60-70 pld and that was like 16-18 months ago

huh?? i was leveling my lv50 blm about two or three weeks ago and when we linked the bats we just went up and the bats didn't follow

yeah like a year ago parties used to actually camp on top of the steps and the puller would be the only person to go down (i did it as thf) and the bat would just zone up with you and get provoked by the tank... then i went back to that area leveling bard like 3 months ago and the bats no longer followed me up the stairs... so to hear they do again is odd... fuckin SE make up your minds

Vrtra was drawn in using some bot program or something, and then got stuck. It wasn't natural, and the guy who did it was banned shortly after if I recall correctly.

I used to camp spook on my BST, charm a scorp, drag a bunch of bats and train them out, land at spook and release, then have a gilseller free spook ^_^

Vrtra didn't spawn there. It happened on my server, Lakshmi, and I had just finished leeching in a bones party not 30 minutes earlier, leaving by way of Mijin Gakure on Vrtra. Someone used POS.exe to get Vrtra up there.

They had MrArgus set to warp to Spook when it popped and some noob was playing with vrtra when Spook popped and got warped up to Spook location with Vrtra.

That's what my LS and I have been saying for a bit. Same principle as POS.exe though. Aggro Vrtra, warp to Spook, Vrtra goes up.

Less than a month ago, I was leaving a KRT party early, I lost sneak halfway around the top area, couldnt reuse an oil b4 getting aggro, I made it to stairs with 1 hit to spare, nothing followed me.

Well, I did speak to a GM regarding the situation. Their reply in a nutshell
