Hi all, long time troll, 4th time poster, lookin' forward to my first GTFO to Alla/IGE. Did an extensive search through the forums (as is required of all trolls) to make sure this topic hasn't been yet covered. So, anyways...
QUESTION: Is a full Yigit set worth it?
MY THOUGHTS: Looking at the stats of the Yigit set, it's clearly for non-HNM usage, any time you gotta nuke something that you don't worry about resists (i.e. no elem skill). Now as we all know, most of the pieces are outdone by their current counterparts, but all together, doing the math, I think they make a compelling case, at least for the people that don't have everything already.
Let's compare stats, vs what most people (at least to my knowledge) use today.
Head: Yigit Turban vs Demon Helm + 1 (some people like me use AF or AF+1, but let's go full dmg here)
Body: Yigit Gomlek vs Genie Weskit (I'd say Igqira, but this is BG, I know you all have one)
Legs: Yigit Seraweels vs Mahatma Slops
Feet: Yigit Crackows vs Rostrum Pumps (some people like relic, but Rostrum has (slightly) more dmg, so go with these)
Hands: Yigit Gages vs Zenith Mitts +1 (again, BG, you all have +1s... right?)
Not bothering to list stats individually, but all totaled, side by side, we get:
--------------Yigit-----Non Yigit
INT:............+8.........+17
MND:.........+12.........+5
MAB:.........+11........+13
Enmity:.......-5...........-4
HMP:..........+8...........---
Eva:.........+22...........---
HP:...........+25..........-85
MP:...........+25.........+85
Refresh:.....Yes..........No
So for pure epeen power, your nukes will clearly hit for the most in a non-yigit build. But! I think the Overall stats for the yigit make a Very compelling case for anyone that doesn't have the uber endgame build. Hell, just take away Genie & ZM+1, and you have Yigit MAB = Non Yigit. Sure there's a 9 INT diff, but is that really that huge? I suggest it's not.
Plus, I think it's important to consider that in a situation where you have to blow something up that takes more than one or 2 thunder 4's, then guess what becomes actually useful: 110 more HP than you'd have with a non-yigit build, 22 more Evasion than you'd have with a non-yigit build (yes I know lolBlmEva, but anything that you'd be using this build on wouldn't be more than T/VT anyways-22 Eva would work very well for a manaburn party on T/VT, I'd think), and looky here, Refresh!
So, what I'm thinking is, a Yigit build might actually be, dependant on how good the refresh effect is, the uber manaburn build. Let's be honest-it's gonna be 1mp/tick-but if for some CRAZY reason somebody at SE became brain damaged and gave us 3mp/tick, then who the hell needs a brd or rdm in a manaburn? Rotate pulling between blms with the puller running cleanup after the first wave of nukes hit and you've got a winner. Even if (when) it's confirmed that this isn't the case, if I gotta stand there and nuke something for a while, it certainly seems that this is a very effective set to have on. Oh, and for all the poor up & coming blms that can't afford /don't want to whore out to 1 year+ of HNMing for 2 pieces of gear, guess what, you can get a reasonably comparable set of gear for how much? Nothing.
