Problem /w computer

i installed daemon tools, and it told me to reboot my system, which i did, and then it royally fucked up my pc like a nigger, so i followed this guide: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/t6828-m ... tdsys.html to fix it, after that i restarted my computer, it takes 5 mins to load windows itself, and when it loads my desktop, it dosent load the taskbar and etc.

That sucks. So I'm assuming you never got to Step 2 in the directions you linked then? And I'm also assuming you can't open the Start menu etc.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open the Task Manager, click on File and then New Task (Run...) and type in "regedit" and hit Enter. Follow Step 2 and on from your directions after that. If you can't open Task Manager, then I got no clue.

actually, I completed all the steps. But it didnt really fix anything, I also tried what you mentioned, didnt work either :3

Sounds like explorer.exe isn't loading, I found this which may be of help. Or at least try running explorer.exe from the Task Manager.[/url]

dude, just copy ur FFXI folder onto another partition, format the system partition, reinstall windows, download the updates and install POL, FFXI etc.

Then copy the FFXI folder back to the system partition and ur done.
