Last thread that was locked had mentions of it, but wasn't derailed by it. Godown was bragging and acting like an asshat, a couple people made some not-so-vague comments about his meriting choice because he was acting like a moron, thread locked.

I like my original theory better than yours Godown would cry about it, it's just the way he is.

ruining people who post one-liners that has no meaning is preferable to ruining people who are reading the threads and actually looking for posts that say something.

That sounds more like good moderating to me. Back in my day, I could look through a thread and 90% of the posts would be answering the question or topic of the original post.
