ps2 problems

semi-long story.. skip to *** if wanna not read it

alright so i bought ffxi summer of 04 for the ps2, played, then quit last.. december ?

gave my HDD away to someone who wanted to play, he'd gimme $50 to borrow it so i figured wtf? dont care...

bought a new pc in january,started ffxi again and been playing on that ever since.. a week ago a RL friend asked me where my HDD was.. he said he wanted to use it for dual boxxing while PLing himself with his friends 75 brd acc.. and idc <_< so i got my HD back yesterday

so i put the HDD in my ps2, i figure i need to update it because the friend who had it never played it. and i go into the HDD and POL viewer, getting my hopes up to hear the HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYY thing, and it goes right back to the ps2 browser in the HDD.. WTF?!!


i DO remember that it didnt work with my friends ps2 originally, and we had to switch ps2's in order for it to work

anyone else had this problem ? i mean im gonna get my ps2 back later this week <_< but idk if theres something easier i can do to make it work.. help prz

you cant swap HDDs between 2 diffrent PS2s, it will only work with the one it was configured with, so if you got a new PS2 or w/e you gotta reformat it.
