Did you install your graphics drivers?
Are you running on 16bit or 32bit colors. You can check this by right clicking on your desktop and selecting properties. A window will appear with several tabs, select the tab Settings and check the "Color Quality" settings.
32 bit, i havnt installed the graphic drivers
Badly scrolling in windows is a sign that something is wrong with your video card. You have not installed the drivers yet(you're using windows defaults) and if you are, you installed incorrect ones.Originally Posted by melbufrauma
You have to actually install your video card drivers in order for your video card to work -_-
Right now your computer is just doing VGA emulation via the processor.
This page shows the recomended drivers for windows version of ffxi based on gfx card brand. http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/env...tml?pageID=win
Yeah same thing happened to me when I reformatted, you just need to reinstall your drivers.
OP shouldn't be allowed to own a computer.
And by that logic, I doubt you should be allowed to own a car or microwave food. Dumbfuck.
You guys are so elite.
you plugged in the the blue thing in the wrong video card, and that can fry your whole mother board![]()
installed drivers, got all problems fixed, ffxi is back up and working like a charm, ty guys
After formatting, always always always get all of your software/hardware with the latest drivers/patches.
Unless you have certain ATI video cards that do better with their original drivers than the fucking Catalyst bullshit.Originally Posted by Eddie
