Rutgers going undefeated would have a similar effect, although for a different reason. Rutgers goes undefeated and doesn't even sniff the championship game... the Big East pitches a fit that their team went undefeated and wasn't even considered for the game.

Difference however, is Rutgers played 1 team the whole season that can go to a bowl, where as louisville played 4? Louisville actually tried to schedule good teams (schedules are made years in advance) by scheduling K.state, Miami when these were premier programs. They have just flopped lately. Rutgers pretty much got on the phone 4 years ago and dialed in automatic wins. They admitted that they scheduled very easy to help rebuild the program. Doubt there will be much comlpaining when they don't go to the BCS championship. Welp, grats SEC. Since louisville won't go, would like to see auburn or florida, or even notre dame if they were to get the chance. Really hope michigan and ohio state just don't play in a re-match.
