Anyone else been following this series? Ep16 came out today and just finsihed watching it.

I dont usually get really psyched about an anime, but damn, this series always has me on the edge, and this weeks and last weeks episodes have been just amazing.

Definitely a series that everyone needs to watch.

Death Note is most definitely one of the better animes out there. ALso, google animanda / animenoobs for torrent releases.

(Animanda is slow as hell, but great quality | Animenoobs are real quick, but quality sucks)

i was disappointed by 16, but i guess mostly because 14 and 15 were so good.

I don't think it's a spoiler, but Ep16 is the beginning of the 2nd arc of the story to some extent. Thing are going to calm down a bit for a few episodes before getting back to the point they were with omgwtf plot twist. Doesn't really make them bad imo, they just need time to introduce more elements.


People who like the anime should just read the manga now. There is almost no difference between both, except for the fact you can have the whole awesome story now. It's still pretty fun to watch the anime, even better in my case, after reading the manga

That's what I did. The manga and the anime are basically word for word. I couldn't wait for Death Note to be released so I downloaded all of it and read it in 1 day. ._.

That's what I did. The manga and the anime are basically word for word. I couldn't wait for Death Note to be released so I downloaded all of it and read it in 1 day. ._.

The only difference in the anime so far is how they skipped the introduction of his "2nd" girlfriend before the cellphone part in episode 15. That scene in the manga played a big role later, so it was weird to just skip it.

Beside that, the rest is literally word for word and frame by frame. Every manga adaptation should be done that way, because it works so damn well.

You will blow right through, but like I said, there is a good chance you will still be waiting for every episodes. I know I do, and I'm more psyched knowing what is going to happen, cause it's simply awesome.

Meh, if it's anything like the manga it goes downhill hard.

To me Deathnote ended after a certain event. I'm quite happy with it in that respect.

I still liked it a lot after "that event". The Part 1 is very awesome, Part 2 is almost as awesome, but awesome for sure.

Btw, just so I know where the anime is at compared to the manga, what happens in Ep 16?
