was having a discussion with my ls today. some say it's blue some say it's purple. what do you think it is?

i wasn't implying that i think it's blue.. personally i think it's purple. but a lot of ppl argue that it's blue.

maybe i should rephrase to why does it appear blue to so many people.as it stands the votes are in favor of blue.

I think it depends a lot on what colours you are seeing it next to, and how the light is. For instance, in my personal opinion, Epical's first pic, of the galka, seems to show it as a more 'regal blue' kind of colour - at least the shoulder pads do.

However, the other two pics seem to support the idea that it is purple - so meh. Its certainly a very blue-purple, either way. Perhaps Blurple would be better name for it?

Edit: Jesus, like 4 posts while I wrote this - and another supporter of the name Blurple! :O

This is Indigo, the correct color of the Adaman breastplate... could be called "Dark Blue". In most cases, simply known as Blue.

It's blue in real life, it's blue in Vana'diel, end of story ;o. Stupid thread.
