Serket (Gilgamesh Server)

Longtime lurker, but figured this was too good not to post.

I was levelling my 51 NIN in a pick-up party in Garlaige Citadel basement. About 2 hours in, Serket popped, and was claimed by 6-man (or so) gilseller party as usual. Paying them no heed as they fought just 30-40' or so by our camp, we continued our EXPing.

A few low chains after, I noticed Serket was still up, around 15-20%, and one or two gs bodies were lying around it. Realizing it was raged, I kept a much closer eye on it while we continued chaining beetles. Eventually it went down to ~10%, with only a THF, BLM, SMN and weakened PLD and RDM on it. We pulled another beetle as the BLM got hate, and kited it across our party before dying. THF, RDM and PLD tried to prevail, but eventually succumbed to constant ground pounds and wild rages just as we finished off the beetle, and the SMN and his Titan ate a Numbing Breath soon after, killing both. And then...

I always wanted to Mijin kill a HNM of some sort, never thought I'd do it so soon ^^. And yes, I won the lot for the ring.

Yes...these new RMTs are very incompotent...You can CFH on a monster that wasn't even near them and is much higher level than them (and it's a type of monster you wouldn't want to EXP on) and their weakened WAR will Provoke for reasons unknown to God... (Based on actual events.)
