    Netscape going apeshit.

    Alright. I have the latest verison of Netscape. Been using Netscape for like two years, no issues. However, about two days ago, it started randomly freezing when I used it. And -just- Netscape at that, nothing else would freeze, I'd Ctri-Alt-Del and it would say "Not responding" while my CPU usage normaly around 3-8% when i'm just browisng would skyrocket to 40%+ and remain there till it would unfreeze. I've removed it, downloaded the latest again, installed it, same shit. Norten, Microsoft, Lavasoft, etc all detect nothing. Also note again it does not affect IE, e-mail, games, Muds, nothing. Just Netscape. Any ideas on how it fix this?

    No, that would only encourage your continuing use of Netscape. Join the new millenium.

    I actually prefer Netscape and ran into the same issue as the OP. I just assumed it was something fucked with my PC and downloaded Firefox >.>;

    back in 96, I remember when everyone used netscape. it was THE browser to use!

    But now, in 2007, it's time to let go dude. Netscape is ancient history, THE browser to use is now firefox

    First thing I thought of when I saw this was.
    I haven't used Netscape since 1998.
    Get with the times.

    Better idea: if it's broke, switch. Of course in this case the result would be the same...

    asking him to download Firefox is a perfect solution to his "technical support query" in the general discussion thread lol

    If someone came to me and said, "Hey I have a problem. I keep hitting myself on the head with a hammer and my hammer broke. Do you know where I can get more hammers?"

    I wouldnt tell that person, "Go to such and such hardware store", I'd say, "Stop fucking hitting yourself on the head with hammers retard."

    So then you agree Firefox is an ample solution to his problem? lol
