No, once I can kick my addiction to FFXI I'm never starting on another online game like this. Takes up far too much time.

The following conditions would have to be met for a 'yes':

1) PC exclusive
2) Permits user-created interface mods to be used
3) Updates content more than twice a year, both end-game and otherwise, without simply recycling old seasonal content.
4) Has community managers who don't bullshit around on every serious interview attempt regarding user concerns (see: http://www.bluegartr.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16915)

Then I might play another Square/Enix created MMOG.

But seeing as how they will never meet even one of those four conditions, the answer is 'no.'

I'll happily continue to buy their non-MMO content. They do good work on those still.

I want to say NO, I'll never play another MMO again as long as I live, but it is conceivable that I would, and that could conceivably be from SE, though I'm going to doubt it.

That's pretty much how I felt before I quit FFXI, but now that i'm gone I can't even get myself to play Xbox Live because I don't want to get sucked back into that same atmosphere.

If the game doesn't take too much from you, and doesn't require you to wake up at 6am for Nidhogg camps (yup, we've all been there) and is actually pretty decent... I might give it a shot.

I selected Other before reading other peoples responses. I hit Other instead of No because I wouldnt play another MMO period. Whether or not it was released by SE is of no consequence.
