have you tried stealing from other mobs?

Sounds to me like they just forgot to add an item to the Steal table of them new mob, Not like they actually glitched or changed the Steal ability.


Damn good way of getting someone to leave your camp though.

not yet, we're all playing with Wivres, they do NOT aggro, have low evasion in my haste setup, and have attack downs that took me from 408 to 180

Someone just tried steal in besieged and no one crashed. You sure it wasn't maybe Aura Steal that crashes people? The text for that has always been kind of wonky.

I'm gonna go with this theory, because I used steal on a Wivre, and stole it's berserk instead of an item (which mindyou, when i crashed, i used steal and got nothing new in my inv).

So ya, there'll be a maint on those mobs I think. Sounds to me like a missing item.

Same thing happened to me 5 times in Castle Z earlier. Had a GM come out and watch me crash and DC my freinds with me.

Same thing happened to my group after log in at Char. We called a GM to report it and they said they were aware but then they... apologized on behalf of Japan.

Happened in an Assault with some LS mates w/ a THF

New pudding (Nutmeg i think) in Nyzul Isle crashed 4/6 members when THF used (Aura) Steal, those who didn't crash had it filtered.

Yeah, 4/6 of my Nyzul Isle party crashed when I absorbed Blaze Spikes from a Flagon, so Stealing the effect is bugged.
