I updated my UI dat files for FFXI. You can get them from my livejournal at http://brandson.livejournal.com/24467.html.

Please let me know if you experience any problems with them.

Edit: I just released a new version that adds versions of my UI for the German and French clients.

Hey Brandson, any feedback about EU POL client? With the new update and French / German thing, they may have changed the clients, so EU client will be as different as JP is to the NA one (dunno if that made sense?)

No one has talked to me about the EU client yet. I expected there to be different dats for the other languages but I'm going to wait until I hear from someone who uses the EU client before trying to find any new dats for other languages.

Updated this to add German and French language support. Also, the descriptions for status effects on the Japanese client will now show correctly in Japanese, instead of English. I have instructions in the readme file on how to use the English icon dat instead if you prefer. I've tested this and it appears to work but there may still be some problems. Let me know if something didn't come out right.

Thanks. I've been thinking about updating the maps, but I haven't been able to access ffxiclopedia.org since the patch. Every time I try to connect to it in firefox or IE, it just sits there for a while then tells me it timed out. Until they fix that, I probably won't be updating any maps.

I can access ffxi-atlas just fine. I need consolidated info about salvage zones including maps from all the different remnants. ffxi-atlas doesn't have that. When making maps I like to read up from as many sources as possible and I'm not really a salvage expert myself so I'd like to be able to read what's on ffxiclopedia and see if there are any maps posted there.

If you know of a public proxy server that can still access ffxiclopedia, please send me the details.

Question though: Do you intend to update the Rampart effect? Ever since it has Rampart/Rampartskin both have given the default icon.
