You can't buy fireworks in NY at all. Theyre illegal.

How do you figure? I've lived in PA my entire life and I can tell you for a fact that the only things we can legally buy are what I like to refer to ass pussyworks (IE lame ass shit that can't injure anybody).

Ah, just read Deejay's post; that'd be why I guess, hehe.

You can get like, small smoke bombs, and some random things that go pop, I'd consider those fireworks, but nothing that's halfway amusing :/ Ok well let's expand this abit, howcome some states suck like NY and possibly Penn and I know there's gotta be other places you can buy bigger stuffs. (Sorry for derailing happy 4th!)

I live in MD. We sell fireworks here, but the weaksauce kind. The ones that hiss ,and sparkle, no pos and bangs. We have to go to West Virgina or PA to buy good fireworks, cause the good shit is illegal here. I guess they are just illegal to sell and not own/use, cause no one gets shit for lighting them.
On the bright side UMBC is down the street from me and I can see the fireworks show above the trees.

These ways of thinking -- cultivated, nurtured, indoctrinated from childhood on -- have been useful to those in power, and deadly for those out of power.

National spirit can be benign in a country that is small and lacking both in military power and a hunger for expansion (Switzerland, Norway, Costa Rica and many more). But in a nation like ours -- huge, possessing thousands of weapons of mass destruction -- what might have been harmless pride becomes an arrogant nationalism dangerous to others and to ourselves.

Someone always has to fag shit up. Despite not being American, or liking many things about this country. I can stand behind patriotism 110% Loving your country and loving what your country, or more specifically it's government does, are two fucking completely different things.
I hope to heaven that you are not American. If so, you are the same as every weeabo fuck that thinks japanese shit is auto superior. Celebrate the American dream fag, there is nothing wrong with it.

In PA you can have stores that sell good fireworks but people that live in PA can not enter them.
Must have out of state ID to even enter. It's pretty fucked up but i rode buy one last night and it was packed with cars in the lot.

do you think that anyone who disagrees with you is a liberal? it doesn't require a bleeding heart to engage in reasoned, ethical dissent

the nazism argument is a bit of a stretch; nationalism is a direct instrument of engendering compliance with the government, trains are not. his argument is like saying that "saying guns are weapons of violence is like saying baby powder is a weapon of violence since you can throw baby powder in someone's eyes to hurt them"
