Firefox & Image/window size

When using Firefox view a the media/images section of BG if a image is bigger than my window size, I can't see the entire image w/o right clicking on the image, and selecting view image. In IE a scroll bar will show up on the bottom so I can scroll out to the left and right to view the image, but I don't get that here. I'm pretty much a novice at these types of things, but does anyone know if Firefox has that option? I've looked through their help and options menu, and can't come up with anything.

If its too big it normally resizes it down to fit your screen and if you hover it you get a magnifying glass that will switch it between Full Size and Fit to Screen. In full Size you should see scroll bars.

Short of that.. idk.. get a better screen resolution?

so you are looking at a thread and it has images in it, like the random image thread... some pics posted are bigger than your screen resolution and it sizes them down, where as in IE it doesnt resize and gives you a scroll bar? is this what you are saying? or are you opening images with firefox via links and the images scale down?

what im really wanting to know here is if you're looking at threads/posts and its doing this, or if you're looking at the images themselves and its doing this... if its the 2nd one then the poster above is correct, if its the first one, thats not enabled by default and i really dont have any idea on how to turn it off atm

If I open say, the DORP!! thread, and a picture is bigger than my window resolution I will not see the entire picture. The picture will be on the left, and the user info/avatar on the right. No scroll bar appears at the bottom like in IE so I can't scroll out to see the entire picture. The only way I can see the entire thing is to right click and select view picture, but that is a pain because then I have to hit back to get back to the thread, and wait for the pictures to reload. Just trying to figure out if there is some firefox setting I am missing.

What stylesheets are you using to view the forum?
the CSS will cut off the image improperly.. see my LJ for an example (http://switchstix.livejournal.com) the post with me deleting my wow toon will be cut off without scrollbars because of the styling in the CSS.

-_________________________________________________- That it's just the way the board looks. For instance, navigate through: User control panel, board preferences, my board style, to change it. Mine is painted blue, this one doesn't rape my eyes like the others. Try it to see if it works, also: What's the size of the screen, and resolution? What if you do "ctrl" and "-" symbol to change the size?

I guess last resort is to uninstall and reinstall it <_<

Right.
The reason for that is the way the page is setup it cuts off like that for everyone... its the way its styled.
Below is an aimage that shows the CSS Styles (Style Sheets) you can choose from. try a different style sheet to see if you still have the same problem.
Upper Right Hand Corner > 'User Control Panel' > Board Preferences

Right.

That did the trick. Changing to PaintedBlue makes that scroll bar appear at the bottom so I can scroll to see those screens. Thanks!
