Hello all, i have used the search function but have been unable to find anything similar to my problem.
So here is the problem, at home i have a wireless network with a netgear router (previous to that it was a Belkin G standard or something), and in the back of my pc i have a Belkin wireless nic. Everything works as it should do, i am able to use the internet fine, download, share files etc.
The problem comes when i play FF11 on my computer, it runs perfectly , the graphics are fine etc but eventually while playing, my whole computer locks up and freezes, all i can do is hold the restart button in to start it up again. There isnt anything specifically that causes i that i can tell like zoning or cutscenes, it just happens randomly, i could be playing for 2 mins or 2hours before it freezes. The thing is though, if i go grab a network cable and physically connect the PC to the router then i dont have the problem at all.
I am just really confused and fed up of having a cable run all over my house, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions i would be very grateful. If more information is needed about the router, or nic or anything else then just ask and i will find out. Im using a 256mb Radeon 9600XT graphics card if that might have anything to do with it?
Thanks,
Mort.
