ffxiclopedia states crimson howl attack bonus at 15%, bg wiki doesn't have bonus info, and alla's info still calls it crimson roar...

quick test on my character, base atk is 258, with howl i'm at 281.

281-258=23
10% of 258 is 25... why am i missing at least 2 atk?

summoner75/whitemage37 pluto staff(hq dark) naked in all slots but staff, no food. on fire, water and earth day.

did it with all other hq elemental staves, same amounts(except with hq fire) did it with hope staff, which was 1 less in base but same buff amount.

its annoying me, offhand know of any cheap easy to get staves i could use to get different base atk values?

one small pattern i noticed is that it is roughly 3 atk short, is that anything significant?

does it perhaps work on the /256 /512 or /1024 scale such as haste etc? where the % shown isnt *excatly* the percent given, check the advanced section for what i mean (yey another haste topic, by kirschy)

That puts it between 92 and 95 /1024, assuming values are floored. Need to get a drk or something else with really high natural atk to nail it down though.
