Would you like some meat pies guys?
Would you like some meat pies guys?
I found cockroach pie more disgusting than cat or human pie. Am I normal? I watched the dvd earlier with friend and loved it. Great movie in overall. Definitively one of the best this year.
saw it in theaters, loved it. had to watch it again a couple weeks ago on dvd. i thought the cast was perfect and the songs were pretty well done. the only thing that grossed me out a little is the meat pies.![]()
I'da hated it if they didnt slit borats throat TWICE
funny i just watched it tonite.. I really need to get this on HD. normal dvd seems lacking. but was awsome nonetheless
Paid the extra for the book that came with the DVD. Was worth it imo.
Such an awesome movie that I can even forgive Helena Bonham-Carter (my ideal lesbian thryst - I'd hump her any day) her rather weak voice.
I leave you to the mercy of your "children".!
Fucking brutal when he throws her in the furnace.
it was weak in some places but I think she played the character incredibly wellOriginally Posted by Lexa
I saw this movie ages ago when it came out in the cinema's and absolutely loved it. Wanting to hear the original I downloaded it a while afterwards and WOW. What a difference. I thought the singing was good in the movie, but compared to the original... well, I don't often like to do that, but I can't really watch the movie now because I'm so attached to the broadway version >.> But it IS a good movie, and I do like it.
You sir, too sir, WELCOME TO THE GRAVE!
George Hearn is my hero.
I found an original theatrical version with angela lansbury for kytel, I was pleased with myself
I absolutely loved it. Alan Rickman plays those asshole roles SO well. And the scene towards the end when Todd finally gets that fucker... that was the most brutal kill scene I have ever seen. I honestly can say I have never seen a person *stabbed* with a straight razor in a movie before. That bit was just awesomely different.
i dont really like musicals, but i really liked Sweeney Todd.
Did the play no justice.
Where can I see the play? Like a recording or something?
Maybe you can get a recording on DVD? They have a Sweeney Todd broadway revival in 2005, so you might be able to find a DVD of that (it's also really really fucking good).

This, starting at the first, will give you the entire Broadway production starring Angela Landsbury and George Hearn (my favorite Sweeney).

This here is the first of the concert version of the show, which is my favorite version. Stars Patti LuPone (love her), George Hearn and (lol) Neil Patrick Harris. The couple who play Johanna and Antony the sailor in this version are the best imo.
Thank you Kytele. Its really good though it feels different since I saw the movie version first I've been expecting different things in different places though its not that much different.Originally Posted by Kytele
