Provoke Issue

First off, this only happens roughly 1/6 vokes I attempt.

It is not caused by lag, because I'm not lagging when it happens, I can get off Utsu, Hojo, Kurayami all very timely in comparison, and have not had an issue with them.
I am not stunned, terrorized, or otherwise affected by any specific status effect in this picture, notice I still melee through the spamming.

Voke timers go up, I hit voke, I watch recast for 0:00 slide by, I keep hitting voke, this can go on for 5 secs to as long as 20+ secs. I don't understand why exactly it happens.

This does however, only happen in campaign. But it even happens in low number no NPC fighting mob off to the side...

Also those spikes were not shock spikes, they were blaze spikes.

This used to happen to me a lot. I never figured it out either.

you are lagging pretty bad in that screenshot, 1900+ receive
still, 10 seconds going by spamming the JA and it still not going off is weird
you didnt use any items (like a RR hairpin or some other enchanted item) just before that did you? that can make JA's not work for a short time

Figured out what it is... Anti climatic.

As long as I am speed spamming it, it won't go.... Not until I stop spamming.

I guess I just need to not press the buttons so fast, basically I guess the game, or keyboard, or whatever is waiting for a release from the signal going through. Less coffee, more smooth criminal play is needed I guess. ._. And no, no enchanted items. I still tend to press my macros extremely fast and keep having to teach myself now to take my thundering finger off voke macro so it goes through. Have experienced this extensively now and it seems this is all there is to it... lol...

Oh, I was gonna say check with the NPC's in the three starter port towns, periodically you will catch the one selling a scroll of provoke, that's what did the trick for me.

Not all keyboards are created equal, response times do differ. You might want to try a different one, particularly if you're using a wireless keyboard. I tried to game with a budget wireless keyboard a few years ago, it was like being stuck in treacle.
