    POL Black Boarder + Error

Firstly I apologize if this is posted somewhere, but I've tried searching and come up with a solution. My issue is that when I load POL up, Windower has this ugly black error I can't get rid of, and I get the critical error message. POL plays fine but they're both pretty annoying and any solutions would be appreciated.

And no I'm not running both SE's Windowed mode and Windower.

How old is your GFX card? May be screwing up.

I believe turning off windowed mode in the ffxi config fixes this.

If anyone else is having this problem, I found a solution. Someone apparently posted it on BG before too:

Ok I had the same exact problem as most. I can start windows and get some odd graphics issues on the right and bottom side of the screen and they won't go away. I could check or uncheck the start in windowed mode and it would do nothing for me so I came across a temp fix until someone can dig a little deeper for the answer.

    1. Launch "Launcher_gui" first.... don't just use "Launch" from the windower 3.3 folder.

    2. Make sure you check "Hide Borders" in the launch tool. I also made sure all resolution settings were the same in all files just in case.

    3. The game should launch up just fine with no graphics overlay issue... but you still can not maximize or minimize. This is easily solved if you go into the console for windower and type "window_toggleframe". I actually have to type that command twice and it will bring my frames back up. And from that point on you can maximize or minimize. This has to be done everytime you launch the game for now until they fix the issue but it fixed mine and it was the only fix available that I could find. I couldn't find any issue with resolution settings anywhere but I am sure I am overlooking something.

Anyways I hope this helps. smile.gif Good luck. Worked for me atleast lol.
That worked. No more ugly boarder.
