Linkshells and end-game

I made this poll to try to classify end-game behaviors.
Nowadays, there are a lot of end-game events, and it's not necessary easy to organize events and schedules.

The poll will probably show some common and less common behaviors.
For more details, feel free to detail the option you picked and to explain how you feel about the ls directions ( will be easier to read if opinion posts starts with the option you choose in the poll).

There were some people hesitating between #1 and #2.
#1 is for people camping multiple HNMs and/or almost everyday.
#2 is for people that doesn't camp HNMs on a regular base, but will go to Ixion or Cerb if they have the chance.

There is no good or bad answer and a ton of shades, so pick the one that is closer to your ls behavior ^.~)

well I vote doing all without camps, but I dunno if ixion and sandworm are *camp* or not.

By camp I assume you were meaning Ground HNM (fafy, behe, aspid). My ls dont do those, except that, we try to do everything.

Well, seems it's the same case as Wafik, and I think his choice (#2) was the right one.
#1 is for a ls camping pretty much everything.
#2 fits fine for a ls camping one or two mobs from time to time ( doesn't fit a ls camping fafnir everyday, but fits a ls camping Tiamat/Sandword if they have the chance to do it).

My main endgame LS does only salvage and some of us Nyzul.. I lead it and having more events would be too stressful >_>. We have our own dyna, limbus and social LS's.

Also voted second, but we do even less camping. Have done a little bit of KV and Adamatoise for BB items, and some pre-Zilart HNM, but no open-world HNM really.

We do everything else except for Dynamis though. Sky, Sea, Limbus, Einherjar, and Salvage and Nyzul (in smaller groups). We also do Assaults as an LS activity. We also have a slightly different system than most LS's. We have a separate event LS and social LS, but everyone in the event LS pretty much has to be in the social LS, but not the reverse. We started as a Sky only LS long ago, then just slowly expanded to do everything else, but the design of the LS has always made it difficult to do HNM.

That's uncommon and interesting. Are you doing this to make sure everyone have points for salvage ? Or to rank up people ?

Original, I did it because I wanted a Perdu Blade. I opened it to the LS because even though we are an end-game LS we are still very tight knit, so I didn't want to exclude people. It used to take a long time to coordinate for so many people, but it got easier and easier once people got more and more Assaults done. Some people come to get Salvage points, some for Assault gear, some for clears to get Captain, and some people just come to hang out. The only thing that I really demand is that people be flexible with helping other people with clears or getting points if that is needed. I have never had a problem with that because they get to be lazy about coordinating runs in exchange. For people that have Captain we have been testing out doing a few low-man Nyzul Isle runs too, but experience in this so far is limited to only 1 or 2 runs.

There are too many other things to do in Endgame instead of sitting in a zone for 3 hours trying to claim a NM that you might not claim, so I chose option #2 for our LS. If any of the HNMs are up like Ixion or Cerb, I have no doubt our LS would be able to kill and will do so, but you won't be seeing us compete often against others to get it.

I selected option two but the group I am doing most of my events through actually handles it as multiple pearls - people are welcome to participate only in the events that they are interested in. we're doing everything but znm and world-spawns right now. (although ouryu/baha2 is pretty sporadic/almost never lol)

for some of the smaller events we are running multiple shells on different days to accommodate more schedules. points are more or less separate but some of the infrequent stuff is rolled together (KS99/ouryu/baha is part of sky, for instance)

SE keeps adding stuff and we just cant seem to prioritize. So we somehow find a way to squeeze it all in.

Wow, almost 200 votes this far and the results are almost one-sided.

80% of the players are in end-game shells that do all events possible.
Half of them camps HNMs and the other half doesn't.

Only 8% of the players are in linkshells that are selective towards events.
1/4 are doing recent events and 3/4 are doing old events.

The 10% left have really punctual involvement in end-game.


To be honest, I'm quite surprised.
I though more lses would focus on recent events instead of everything from sky to znms.
