Sam Gear setups

Sooooo Im about to start lvling sam (currently 37) mainly because a friend wants to static her brd with me and its the only job I feel like lvling. I a decent amount of gear to ding into post 70, but since I leveled sam to 37 over 3 years ago, ive been pretty out of the loop. Checked otherwiki for sam guides but none of them provided a decent gear list 37-75 like I see with most jobs.

Disclaimer: I will mostly be duoing with a brd and a powerlevel on gobbiepets so I could care less if I xp with a GKt and an aketon. But just looking on what to shoot for.

Acc rings and juju gi at 40, AF weapon until soboro works, soboro until hagun.

juju gi => SH => Hauby (+1) until endgame

Okotes until dusk gloves

Fumas are nice, fed kyahan are good too, bounding/leaping boots are ok (more acc at low levels is awesome)

AF pants are the only piece you should ever TP in besides macroing in helm for meditate. Even then it's only if you don't like republigar. Upgrade to r.k. breeches.

Don't bother with WS gear until yukikaze, then get some str rings and have at it

Tilt belt asap, upgrade to life belt, then swift belt til endgame.

Rest should be kinda obvious, get acc, attack where you can, dex and str where you can't.

I know next to nothing about campaign gear for up-and-coming jobs 'cause I don't have any, so if any of that is good for SAM I don't know about it, sorry. I think that covers the important stuff.

I don't think SAM really needs any special campaign gear, /DNC should be enough on it's own with Soboro (and SAM's TP gain in general) and Seigan.

Head- Emp. Hairpin> 41 Voyager Sallet> 70 Ohat> 74 Ace's helm (if you have or can get it)> 75 Walmart turban (if you dont have ace's)

Neck- PCC (unless you have justice)

Earrings- The attack earrings depending on lvl> 72 Busho earring (if you have)> 75 Brutal

Body- 40 Jujitsu Gi> 45 Luisant Haubert> 57 SH > 59 Hauby (good till 75 unless you wanna be a domaaaarrrruuuuuuuu sam) > 75 Askar if you wanna lose acc

Hands- Okotes> 70 Hachiman (If you wanna get a 6 hit build at 70)

Rings- Rajas (If you have) otherwise Sniper's or a Ulthala's if you have it

Back- Spots meh till 61 for Amement +1> 71 Forger's> Cerb+1 (Nq cerb you lose 3 attack gain 3 enmity, so stay with Forger's)

Waist- Life belt> 50> 60 Speed/Vol belt/Sonic w/e if you got it

Legs- Luisant Brayettes> JSE Sam legs (If it will make a diffrence in # of hits, you wanna use this at 70 to get the 6 hit)> Sam AF legs

Feet- Fuma> 70 Hachiman (To get the 6 hit)>72 Fuma sunate (Once you get store tp merits) > 75 Usukane's (must get if you are able to)

Range- If elvaan get the +2 str piece for WS and use Tiphia stinger to TP in. Ifrit's bow is nice but you lose acc in the range spot.

A lot of this above is if you wanna go all out or aiming for the best.

At 75 just make sure you get a 6 hit build.... See too many sams that don't have it that will use haste pieces all over. Can reduce 7 sec or w/e off your delay till 100tp if you simply change a few pieces of gear with haste ones that may only shave 2 sec tops.

Ok so how about weapons? I dont have a soboro yet, but post update shouldnt be too hard to get one, considering nobody can say they dont have any capped gear

Assuming the Hagun latent doesnt work with level sync, you might want to grab another G.Katana for that purpose for a little extra damage.
