2. Talk to Galka NPC outside Metalworks
3. Examine Monument at top of Zegram hill
4. Click ??? at I-6 in Grauberg.

Second part:
1. Zone into Bastok Markets[S] from North Gusta again for a CS.
2. Head to E-9 in North Gusta, to the Stonehoused Adit. BC

Inside, you must protect Adelheid. She'll run randomly, and stop at points and squat. When she does, several quads will attack. The THF I was douoing with, said the one he was fighting only ever took two shadows. The rest gangbanged Adelheid. You can cure her, but not buff her. I was spamming cure V and IV, but she eventually died. Oh, and Buffs do stay up, if you buff outside.

Adding a WAR friend, and will try again in a bit.

The ??? inside the cave @ (I-6) completes the quest. It is the same one you found Galkas (Werei and Gumbah?) with weapon caches earlier in the questline.

You get icarus wing for your trouble.

For the second quest, zone into Bastok [S] from North Gustaburg [S] again and you'll get a Silvermine key (key item). I went to 4 entrances to Silvermines with no luck yet. Might need a party or I'm dumb. Most likely the latter

It's defnitely here in gusta because the NPC outside the gate says so...but not the Allied Ensign. Looking for it now

Thanks. Well it's an escort quest. some sort of aoe sleep is needed because you get ganked by 6 quadavs that go after the escort directly :D Talk to Solitary Ant right outside the gate to Bastok [S] in Gustaburg and you'll get your key item back if you fail.

Went in as RDM/BLM. Did not go so well...

First wave, 6 quadavs, sleep and kill one by one. I noticed that they change target to the escortee quite often (1 min interval?). She'll move after you kill the last one, so you might want to delay killing it a bit to heal her up.

Next wave, 3 quadavs, same deal.

Then the third wave, 9 quadavs with the escortee running around, I failed on this one. ;.;

I tried BLU/NIN.

I had it all planned out.

Went up the stairs, the Quadavs came out, I stood in front of the NPC ready to defend it to my death (with RRII up even)!

Actinic burst + temporal shift + yawn!

The mobs didn't even blink in my direction.

They just raped the poor little NPC, I tried beating up one of them, it took down a shadow, but then the NPC died. She didn't even put up a damn fight (she had the Ignis powder, so she couldn't apparently) >.<;

4th wave 4 quadav, lost at that point. went rdm x2 & drk

tried again with blm/rdm/drk. got to siege weapon and quads just started pouring out. we got over whelmed and lot.

went blm x2/rdm on 3rd try and lost again. turret was resistant to some magic. best advice for this mission is for someone to go ahead and start attacking the turret while the rest of the group protects the escort. our group was able to tear through the quads easily, but the endless waves at the end was too much. three quads from two directions every 30-45 sec.

I just beat this as a DRG/SAM with a WHM and BLM. On the third raid we were attacked 3x. The WHM did a great job of keeping Adelhide alive, and the blm kept every turtle asleep while I took them down.

After you complete that part, zone into Bastok Markets [S] again from North gusta to see another CS. After that, talk to the Metal Works guard once, then again for another cutscene and a prize.

I did it with a MNK/NIN while I two-boxed RDM/BLM and WHM/SCH. I had no trouble sleeping them on RDM, overwriting with Sleep II and Repose. (And hot damn do I love Repose.) While not impossible, it was a bit of a challenge. (Especially at the end with the 4 BLM Quadavs.) I think that melee, sleeper, and healer is the best way to do it with 3 people, going in with more is not a bad idea.

Also, after the second cutscene with Gentle Tiger, speak to him again to get a title.

And holy crap, the animations that they used in both of the cutscenes were amazing.

that is not true. if the game day passes while you are in the "BC" you can collect the key item directly after failing.
