    JoLove Strat help!

    Hey! My Linkshell Doing there first JoLove, And I Just wanted to See if i could find any pointers to make it Smooth!

    Also I Would Like to Know do people pull JoLove away from Spawn point to prevent the Aggro from AV?

    Atm out Party Set up:
    Tank Party:
    Pld/nin or /rdm(x2)
    Brd/whm or /blm?
    Whm
    Rdm

    Melee - Inside Ally
    x6DDs
    or
    x5DDs + 1Whm?

    Mage Party - Outside for Adds
    BLM(x4)
    Brd
    Rdm/blm
    ---
    Once 9Sets Summons Killed Should we Ally Up With Blacks Mage's?

    We was Just going doing Simuler Strat as Jailer of Justice Blms take out Summons While Melee's kill Justice is this the correct way or should we be doing something else?

    Ps. Please forgive me if there's already a Thread for this I couldn't Find it threw Search ^^;

    Hope this helps. To pull it to the point, just have the tank move slow-ish.

    Iirc having the melee /shutdown won't reset their hate unless JoL tries to target them directly while they are logged out (very unlikely)

    Make sure your melee have a bard or a cor

    Have the BLM party RDM sub NIN and diaga pull the adds, he summons 3 at once, not 1 by 1 like justice. Watch out for the aerns doing this.

    BLMs should be in ally from the start unless you have 1 tank pt + 2 dd pts. No real reason to have them outside, and they can throw some nukes on JoL to speed things up while waiting between summons.

    x2 dd3 cor brd healer parties rip jol apart

    blms dont need a brd or a rdm, just have 5-6 blm. puller is optional but nice if you have someone to spare

    The posted placement map is almost identical to what we use. JoL is much easier now and can be killed pretty quickly (after the 9 sets of pets) with just melee only. We also have had good luck with rdm tanks standing in the same place, plus it keeps JoL from going after a dispeller if your pld goes down. Also, no melee on JoL until after all the pets are gone. We also do the blms separate from the main ally (I think mainly because we have always done it this way and we have 2345242345 melee usually) and then cycle one or two in for magic bursts after the 9 pets. We also have stopped having a puller for the pets... just have the blms agaIII the pets as soon as they pop.

    Good luck! It's a fun fight as long as hate stays in control. If you see JoL spinning, just pull everyone off it until tanks have hate again. If they tanks are too close, they will get sucked in, too.

    Thnxs guys for the advice yeah i found that thread afterwords *Duh* lol Anyway we went 1/2 one of plds some how manged to cast a spell on an Aern on first Pop, And they went from Pld to Pld and he didnt even say anything >:S

    Both fights went smooth other than 3Aerns pwn'ing the only tanks :S
    2nd One got down in around 30min with about 15people ^^+5blms 1rdm^^; Found have'ing puller helps alot we first fight i was liven by the edge when i got hit with astral flow :S!!
    Anyway thnxs again for the advice ^^

    We did our first JoL in about 45 minutes.

    Nin/Drk
    Pld/Rdm (had no clue about /Rdm so this was his first time; and he dies to EVERYTHING)
    Whm/Blm (sole healer, relied on Ballad for refresh)
    Brd/Whm
    ???

    Blm x5
    Brd

    4-5 melee (Sam/Thf/Drk/Sam - average geared melee)

    Rdm/Blu pulled the adds to the Blm party. Blm's + Brd's cured whenever the tanks were near death. The melee party got ravaged due to have no healer of any sort; we were poorly setup and still managed to kill it, easier than I expected.
