you need 6 people but you can people who don't want to spend AP force DC as you enter and you'll have less than 6 people in.

Yeah, you still need 6 chars to enter, but when they d/c right before you click enter, their tag isn't used up, so essentially you're entering with less than 6.

I wish they would just let you enter with less than 6. It's always a pain to find people to help, even with being able to use multiple accounts at once...

    wow.... wat a nice trick.

    1 more question XD
-so basicaly just wait the helper self dc (had red dots on em) then we go in b4 they depop, warp in when they still ingame?

    or

-wait the helper self dc, then click the salvage door to flag up the salvage quest. then wait all of the helpers depop from game, and we go in?

    thx alot.

    PS: why SE let us doing this trick... and not letting us going less than 6 -.-;

As soon as everyone red dots, click enter. If you wait for them to completely d/c then you won't get in.

I usually d/c, when I see red dots, count to 10 and then click through the enter menus. Haven't had a time where I entered too fast, but don't want to risk it if I dont need to ^^

You don't need to wait. You can enter as soon as the others have disconnected, even before you see the red dots; it seems that the game client has to acknowledge the zone change for it to happen.

I have YES ready on my main char. I then X the windows of the DC'ers, once I've hit X on both I click yes on the main.

Seconding this, I've never waited for red dots, red dots usually happen a few seconds before the zone allows us in.

Last low man salv i did, the 6th person whom was d.c'ing, they closed the client when we were entering (I.e i had the cs and the rest just were going in), they kept their permit. So you can do it soon as your entering too Kinda thirded to Wafik and Val, dun need no red dots.

    Use Warp.

Call time to warp, enter, people warp, they don't waste any time D/Cing and you go in by yourselves. It's much cleaner and much less risky (with the D/C trick, if they come back too quickly they can still be pushed in or something).

Thanks for that tip, might actually use that... people never want to actually dc themselves.

would Escape work? Or is that too slow?

I've always used the DC trick, but then again, I've never actually thought of Warp/Escape.

Having used the dc trick several times, I've noticed something about it. Assault seems to follow BCNM rules about entry WRT engaging in combat.

Case in point, on golden salvage, if I reconnect the d/c'd account before a chest has turned into a mimic, they enter the zone and their tag is used. If I wait until after a chest has turned into a mimic, they keep their tag and don't enter the zone.

Whether or not this would happen for salvage, I'm unsure, but as it has something of the same system I bet it would.

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure someone has gotten back on before I opened the initial chest without being forced into entering, although I'm not entirely positive.

I've logged my accounts back on after D/Cing myself into Assault before, so this most definitely isn't true as of 6 months ago.

As for other methods to use to get in, Escape, Teleport, Recall will all work, so long as you're out of the zone when the people entering actually enter. Just have the Escapers stand a little ways away, and the person entering keep the confirmation window open, with the camera turned towards the escaping group. Once the animation begins to finalize, click enter.

I don't think you can "escape" anywhere in Alzadeel Undersea Ruins. I could be wrong but I've never heard of people doing it.
