Alright so I've posted threads on Crysis Forums but no one even replied to them because they're all foolish unlike BG. Any halp or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I played the original Crysis when it first came out without any real problems. I've updated my hardware since (around January) and just got Warhead and am having a problem with both the original and Warhead now. As soon as I open either game the sound and the video for the EA, nVidia, etc advertisements is very very choppy. The background video of the map in the menus also lags (although the sound is fine during the menus it seems).

Once I start actually playing the games, the voiceovers will be cut off and will skip to the next voice before finishing the first. The rest of the sound seems fine although I'm not sure. The cutscenes are all choppy and very difficult to even grasp, especially with the sound being so quirky. The game itself runs at a good FPS (40-60 depending on settings) but the display is very choppy, especially while looking around using the mouse and in vehicles. I have the problem despite what my advanced video settings are, even at Minimum for all and having AA off (I am using 1280x1024 resolution). The original Crysis crashed pretty quickly when I tried to start playing it.

I have updated my video driver recently but the problem persists. I get no problems when I use my benchmark program or when I play other games (Spore, World of Warcraft, F.E.A.R.). Only suspicion I have is a codec problem but I have no trouble watching any videos and I'm pretty sure I got the latest codecs anyway.

Here are my system specs:
OS: Windows XP (Fully up to date, DirectX v9.0c)
MOBO: ASUS M2N-SLI DELUXE
RAM: 2 X 2GB G-Skill
CPU: AMD Ahtlon 64 X2 6400+ (estimated speed 3214.8 MHz)
HD: Western Digital Raptor 150GB SATA (plenty of room on it)
Graphics Card: Radeon X1800 XT (driver version 8.9)
Sound card tests fine in DirectX Diagnostic and I don't have any problems with it besides in Crysis.

Please halp.

One more thing to add and probably a big hint, the game ran slightly smoother right after I restarted my PC and has gotten progressively worse the longer my PC has continuously run.
