Price range is ideally 100, but as high as 150. I fricking hate ear buds, anything else is fair game.

I've found that Sennheiser always has some awesome headphones for the price.
Bose has some good headphones but they're just waaaaaaay too much for what you get.
BestBuy.com - Search Results
I could have swore there have been like twenty of these type of topic, but search function only reveals a single thread on wireless headphones. I think I'm going nuts.
EDIT: http://www.bluegartr.com/forum/gener...eadphones.html
This has discussion about good wireless ones, couple seem in your price range if you're into that ritzy wireless sort of thing.
Skullcandy
Any and all of them
wtf, who spends more than $20-30 on headphones?
richass
Here I was thinking that $100 isn't going to buy anything "decent".
All a matter of opinion I guess.
(I still say that headphones for home use is retarded. Get speakers if you want quality, and expensive earbuds if you want something to put in your ipod on the bus)
If I can find a good quality pair for 30 I'd take it, however all the cheap ass ones I have bought keep having quality issues, even my 40 dollar skullcandy ones. I thought it would be nice to have a reliable, wuality pair, and as such saved up some money for it. when you work any kind of job saving 100 bucks is not very hard.
and alleya I would use them in home as I share a room, in my dorm room (two roommates) and anytime I have to walk somewhere which since I live on campus is all the time
Newegg.com - Creative FATAL1TY 3.5mm gold-plated Circumaural Gaming Headset
These are the ones I use, and they are amazing.
$80-$150 - HeadRoom - Right Between Your Ears
I use these: Sennheiser HD 555 at home, and Lenntek Sonix High Definition Earphones for my travel/gym use. The Lennteks are $20 and hard to beat at that price. They get decent reviews over at head-fi as well. The 555s can be had for under $150. I think I got mine from Newegg for like $80 a while ago.
Surprised people were saying $100 was to much for headphones. I feel like I can't hear shit with anything under $150.
Headphones, MADE OF MONEY?
mine were $4 at a drug store
Out of the various Skullcandy models I am leaning towards the Hesh, anyone have any particular thoughts/experience with those?
Grados sr80 and above though the sr60 are petty decent bottom tier. May want to buy or build your own amp as well. Lots of cmoys on ebay though they're not hard to build. Senns are good too. I used to think Skullcandy were the shit too but then I put on some grados(sr 325) and the senns(hd 555 i think?) and just laughed at skullcandy(i gave them away in the end).
Amazon.com: Sennheiser PX 100 Collapsible Headphones: Electronics
I think it's like 30 bucks. I like them a lot.
There are also wireless headphones. Basically portable stereo-ear muffs.
i got sennheisers several years ago (HD560) for like 130 bucks, and they are pretty much better than anything i've ever used. extremely comfortable and the sound is exceptional. however, the ones i have are "open" headphones, meaning there's lots of little holes in them in order to produce better sound. so, they're really nice for music when it's not noisy around you, but not really good for lanning in a noisy atmosphere. i also have to occasionally replace the wires since they seem to be pretty frail with overusage.
if you need something that blocks outside sound, make sure you find a closed set. sennheiser has HD 280's i think but those ones were really really small and uncomfortable.
I think he means this:
All Skullcandy products have a limited manufacturers lifetime warranty in two categories:
1. Defective Product Replacement: We will gladly replace any defective Skullcandy product. Please write a detailed description of the problem below so our team can serve your needs quickly.
2. Aggressive Listening Discount: All Skullcandy products that fail due to "aggressive listening"--that is, if Skullcandy products fail or break due to a crazy crash on the mountain or a violent head-banging session... or any other reason that is not a product defect, we will still hook you up! Send in whatever remains of your product, and we will send you a coupon good for 50% off any product in our Online Shop.
That kind of warranty is incredible on any headphones and you probably won't find a warranty like that anywhere else.
The other nice thing about Skullcandy is the choice you have in terms of style. I mean Rastafarian headphones? I dare you to find me another pair of those bad boys.
