I don't know how many of you have done stuff like this, but basically this is a series of tests in a virtual laboratory to examine hidden biases for things like race, ethnicity, sexual orientation etc. There are a bunch of different tests and they're fun to try out if you're bored.

For instance I took the Obama-McCain test, it told me I had a weak preference for black people in general and a weak preference for McCain in the election.

fyi I'm white and voted Obama, so maybe the test is lol?

I can't help but feel some relevant information is missing?
Is this a webbased thing? downloadable? where? is it made by some serious institution, or a pet project of a Toys'r'us employee? etc.

yup, i forgot the website, it's web based. It's out of harvard and seems to have been going on for quite some time, so you get to compare your scores with general statistics.

i took it and i got a safety-danger, 2050-1950 test
and a management-labor, and good-bad- test

i associated safety with 2050
and labor with good

interesting test

definitely not quite an accurate test, though I can see how they are coming up with their results based on the grouping as fast as you can test.

Problem is, if you are concious about what it's trying to accomplish it can be quite hilarious. I took this test to see if I was religious, and as soon as it was trying to sort 'Me' with 'Atheist' or 'Religious', I started laughing. Made so many mistakes that it said I associate myself with being religious (big lol).

I can see me having a stronger preference for white people, but then again I really hate white and black people, only maybe one moreso, so whatever.

I'm actually somewhat interested in how a gay or bisexual person would be gauged on this portion of the test.
