    Slumdog Millionaire (MC: 86, RT: 94%)

    It may just be an Indian thing, but this film was exceptionally good, for an indian based film. It wasn't released to major theaters, so good luck finding it.

    It's at all the arthouse theaters, so you should be able to find it. And I agree, it's very good. I got the book it's based on for Hanukkah and I'm excited to read that.

    I just got back from seeing the movie and like the others said, it was really good. I expected it to be good, but it was better than I expected. The backstory to how he knew the answers was really interesting.

    It's actually playing in every major theater I know of. Rather good movie, but with the last month of 08 some better movies were put out imo.

    Because that's when the Academy and HFPA look for award nominations. Half of the movies nominated for the Golden Globes last weekend were released in the last two months.
