If I weren't at work I'd be enjoying it as well. If it's half as good as the bootleg from the 2007 show I'll be happy. Her rendition of Awakening always sends chills down my spine. By the way, all 6 parts are available for viewing, so I'm not exactly sure why they only advertised the first part.

Wow, I'm so glad they did this for this year's Fanfest. From '07 there were only audience videos of Awakening. I actually also wanted to hear Smash Bro's Selbina again, but I couldn't find it anywhere ; ;

Ragnarok is my favorite song in all of FFXI. I enjoyed this version of it, though it didn't match the power of the original. Still interesting to see and amazingly well done (she's some player!)! I didn't get the shivers that the original gave me though.

ragnarok is definitely great. made the alex fight for aht urghan even more epic ^^. don't think there has been a final battle theme for an expansion i haven't liked yet

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. "Ragnarok" is absolutely brilliant, and probably one of Mizuta's best tracks he's offered in the game.

long as goddess gets a final boss fight just as awesome as the alex fight was with equally as good music i'll be a happy man lol. love ffxi's expansions final battles so far. zilart's ended a little too quick though. suppose that could be blamed on there being better gear and merits now a days to do that fight with. It seems like though ffxi's music gets better and better with each new expansion. Some of the WotG music is great

looking like a april update now :/. all i know is that crap better be massive to warrant a 4 month wait and SE better not start pulling 1 update per 4 months bs. 3 months is long enough.

anyway, found the music from the goddess soundtrack on youtube. troubled shadows sounds like it'd be good walk of echoes or castle vhazl S music when SE adds em. that music gotta be for one of the two.

I really wish SE released a disc/itunes version with non live recordings of these, but this is better than the fan made videos we had until now.

I think I'll cut the audio and add them to the music collection.

And I think that they originally got the names for Ragnarok (Alexander's fight music) and Iron Colossus (Odin's fight music) mixed with the release of WotG OST, and they just won't accept the mistake.

They were late additions to ToAU iirc, which is why they were put onto WoTG OST

Yeah, very late. I remember when they were found in an update and we all went crazy loving them.

The first time I did the 44 fight I was so disappointed that Ragnarok wasn't the battle music... then after you beat the BLU suddenly there it is! :D :D

Exactly, but it's with the release of WotG OST when we first knew how they named them, even if we were able to listen to them before that.

[edit] Oh, Tanioka Kumi is very talented... I want to play like her. I think Ragnarok is reminiscent of Yasunori Mitsuda's work, specifically on Chrono Cross. I like a lot of the other tracks Mizuta wrote much better though...
