    Magic Hammer Gear: MND or Blue Magic?

    I'm curious as to what some people use for Magic Hammer gear, I know the spells is a heavy MND modifier, and for the most part it's just stack MND wherever. But what about slots like the body? Or the Head?

    Would you lean for something like W Body for the +10 MND, or the AF Body for the +15 Blue Magic Skill. Same question posed for AF2 Head. MND or Blue Magic?

    On imps I'd rarely get resisted without any m.acc/blu skill. On harder targets it's not really worthwhile IMO, since the base mind goes up enough to take a big dent out of magic hammer, not to mention m.acc issues.

    And it's not just mind but MAB is very good as well in certain slots. Like neck (ugly pendant), ear (moldy), and the pieces of yigit that have MAB/MND combo.

    I think I see where yoour going with the theme. So as long a you can keep your MND decent enough, the MND should outweigh the BLU Magic for potentcy on Magic Hammer just because it pushes your MND that much higher than the mobs MND.


    Gonan throw some gear in here based on items I have, and tell me if it would make for a decent starter set for Magic Hammer.

    Head: Mirage Keffiyah(Don't have any MND pieces atm my BLU can wear since I dropped my Yigit Turban awhile back.)

    Neck: Faith Torque(Sold uggy Pendant years ago b/c it really didn't seem that effcient to me.)

    Ears: Novio Earring/ Moldavite Earring

    Body: Crimson Scale Mail

    Hands: Yigit Gages? Or Morrigan Cuffs? (I have both)

    Rings: Aqua Ring/Tamas Ring

    Back: Prism Cape

    Waist: Penitent's Rope

    Legs: Mahatma Slops

    Feet: Yigit Crackows


    That's what I'm thinking about starting with, If anyone could post potential upgrades to seek after and critique if that build will work as a starter build or not.

    AF head is 3 MND, if no torque you can get away with Promise Badge or Morgana's Choker, Aslan Cape as back piece (5 MND) and errant/mahatma feet (5/6 MND). I'd also use morrigan hands.

    Forgot about AF Head since I really haven't had a chance to use it. Been usuing Voyager's Sallet since 40, and am now 70.

    5/6 MND is better than 3 MND and 2 MAB from Yigit Crackows for Magic Hammer? Seems kinda weird opting for errant pigaches over Yigit Crackows, but opting for Morrigan Cuffs over Yigit Gages.

    Aren't those two choices contradictory?

    Whoops, forgot about MAB on yigit, you right.
    Morrigans (if you are loaded on MND in other spots), I was thinking more about the 5 m.acc vs. 5 MND than about MAB. THey should be better in the long run.
